Myongji Hospital and COSMAX NBT Sign Agreement for Research and Development of Natural Health Functional Foods
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] Myongji Hospital is embarking on research and development of natural material substances for patients complaining of weakened immunity, memory decline, and fatigue after the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as for modern people who find it difficult to maintain their health.
Myongji Hospital's Natural Medicine Research Institute announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement with global health functional food company COSMAX NBT for research and development of natural material substances.
According to this agreement, both institutions will conduct screening and clinical trials of specialized functional materials (immunity, memory, fatigue improvement, etc.) that are gaining attention in the post-COVID era, invest in these areas, and cooperate by utilizing specialized technology and networks.
Myongji Hospital's Natural Medicine Research Institute will research and discover materials that can strengthen immunity based on various natural medicine research data. COSMAX NBT will be responsible for developing high-function health foods using natural materials through the know-how of its R&D center and state-of-the-art automated systems.
