Yongin City Expands Support Program for Artists' Creative Activities... Applications Open Until the 24th of This Month
[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province is conducting an additional call for applications for the 'Artist Creative Activity Support Project' until the 24th.
The Artist Creative Activity Support Project is one of the cultural and artistic public offering projects operated to support local artists and expand citizens' opportunities to enjoy culture and arts.
Through the call held in February, Yongin City selected 5 projects in the Demand Culture Square category and 8 projects in the Artist Creative Activity Support category.
The city recently decided to expand the Artist Creative Activity Support projects, secured an additional budget of 32 million KRW, and plans to conduct a public offering project supporting venue rental fees, promotion costs, publishing costs, and programs in visual and artistic fields such as literature, fine arts, photography, and ceramics.
If selected in the public offering, individuals receive support funds of around 3 million KRW, and organizations receive around 10 million KRW.
Eligibility requires being an organization based in Yongin or an artist residing in Yongin for more than one year as of the announcement date, and having more than three cultural and artistic activity achievements.
Documents such as the application form and project plan must be submitted by visiting the city's Culture and Arts Division or by email (mjjeong26@korea.kr).
