[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] Two men who met through a smartphone app were caught by the police while using drugs at a location in Seoul.
On the 13th, the Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked and are investigating Mr. A, a man in his 20s, and Mr. B, a man in his 50s, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.
They are suspected of using narcotics at a lodging facility in Songpa-gu, Seoul, around 1:30 a.m. on the 10th.
The police, who responded to a report claiming confinement and illegal filming, interrogated Mr. A and obtained a confession of drug use. It was later confirmed that the claims of confinement and illegal filming were false.
The police found four syringes and approximately 0.1g of methamphetamine at the scene.

A police official stated, "We are investigating the case and plan to examine the exact circumstances of the incident."
