GS25 Launches PB ‘Real Price’... "Ultra-Low Price Win-Win Brand"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] GS25 announced that starting from the 13th, it will sequentially introduce six ultra-low-priced co-prosperity private brand (PB) Real Price general merchandise products operated by GS The Fresh.
Real Price is an ultra-low-priced brand launched by GS The Fresh since 2017, actively discovering small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent product quality but facing difficulties in market development, and selling their products at about 70-80% of the price of regular products.
The products introduced at GS25 this time include Real Kitchen Towel 4 rolls, Real Sanitary Gloves 100 pieces, Real Sanitary Pack 200 pieces, Real Roll Bag 200 pieces, Real Natural Pulp 24 rolls, and Real Beauty Tissue 3 packs, totaling six items. These are essential daily general merchandise products with more than twice the quantity of products currently handled by GS25, yet about 20% cheaper in price. They will mainly be introduced in stores located in residential commercial areas, and the number of target products will gradually increase in the future.
A GS Retail official said, “To contribute even a little to price stabilization, GS Retail is collaborating both inside and outside its distribution channels,” adding, “By introducing ultra-low-priced Real Price products, we will play a leading role as a price stabilization and co-prosperity consumption platform that benefits both consumers and small and medium manufacturers.”
