[Seukon Exploration] Refreshing JTBC, Meet Through Popup
Let's Detox This Weekend at JTBC RE:fresh Juice Bar!
Recently, popup stores have been opening nonstop. They are temporary means created to promote new brands and products to customers, planned with groundbreaking collaborations or unique concepts, making them highly entertaining. Especially, JTBC also opened a popup store, raising curiosity. When planning Drinkit's segment [Scon Exploration], we naturally expected to cover only news from the distribution industry, never imagining we would visit a popup store created by a broadcasting company. So, what exactly could you enjoy and taste at the JTBC popup store?
Starting in June, JTBC expressed its ambition to bring joy to viewers with new dramas and variety shows. They introduced new content covering a wide range of themes including drama
The location is Seongsu-dong. At Cafe Botbotbot (if you want to know more about Botbotbot Cafe, click here!), you can explore JTBC works and enjoy free juice. Visiting the popup store offers a place to relax and detox from your tiring daily life at a new-concept juice bar.
Created in collaboration with illustrator Kim Da-ye, this place is full of photo zones. The charming illustrations feel vibrant yet not overwhelming, giving a fresh and cute atmosphere.
Upon entering, you can encounter JTBC's popular dramas and variety shows through kiosks. From the intensely heated
Strong Baseball: A vitamin C-rich lemon juice that strikes out viruses. Made with lemon, paprika, apple, and orange, it is rich in vitamin C, helping prevent colds and boost immunity. It looked like orange juice, so I expected it to be tangy, but it had a spicy taste from the paprika. It wasn't sweet or tangy, but it was a healthy drink with no unpleasant aftertaste, which I liked even more.
Fly to the Dance: Celery juice for world-class youthful skin. Made with celery, apple, pineapple, and lemon, it helps prevent aging, has anti-cancer effects, and aids blood circulation. At first, it had a citrusy freshness like orange, but then a bitter, grassy taste typical of celery stalks appeared. The refreshing flavor was quite noticeable, so despite being a health drink, it wasn't bad at all.
Famous lines that everyone has heard at least once are made into paper posters that visitors can tear off one by one, and next to them, production stickers are freely available to take.
Going up to the rooftop, there is a resting area and photo zones prepared. Through a capsule toy event, you can also receive stickers and grip-toks by illustrator Kim Da-ye, so there is absolutely no reason not to visit. You can experience this at Seongsu Botbotbot until the 12th, so don't miss out and be sure to visit.
