"Appointment Possible as Early as the 11th"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Young-won] On the 8th, President Yoon Seok-yeol requested the National Assembly to resend the confirmation report on the nomination of Kim Chang-gi as Commissioner of the National Tax Service.
A presidential office official said to reporters at the Yongsan office on the same day, "We requested the resubmission today," adding, "The deadline for resubmission is three days, so it is until this Friday (the 10th)."
Accordingly, it is expected that Kim will be appointed as early as this weekend. The official said, "Physically, the appointment can be made from Saturday (the 11th), but whether the appointment will be made immediately that morning depends on the situation."
