Seven Eleven Launches Sangju Gotgam Sujeonggwa... "Supporting Small Farmers and Crafted by Food Masters"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Seven Eleven announced on the 8th that it will launch the fourth project product with the Rural Development Administration, ‘Seven Select Sangju Gotgam Sujeonggwa’.
Sangju Gotgam Sujeonggwa is made from Sangju Dungsi Gotgam grown directly by local excellent small-scale farmer Shin Kyungsun. Dungsi Gotgam is characterized by its chewy texture and deep flavor, and is a representative variety of Sangju Gotgam. In addition, the manufacturing was entrusted to Moon Wanki, holder of Food Master No. 77 and known for Sikhye No. 1. Using a traditional method of heating and extracting persimmon, cinnamon, and ginger at optimal temperature and time, it faithfully reproduces the spicy and fragrant taste of traditional Sujeonggwa.
To commemorate the launch of this product, customers who purchase it by the 22nd of this month will receive an eco-friendly paper ice cup worth 600 won for free.
