Woori Bank Establishes ATM Cash Surveillance Monitoring System
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori Bank announced on the 7th that it will establish an ‘ATM Cash Surveillance Monitoring’ system to prevent financial accidents.
The monitoring is conducted daily at a specific time by the ATM itself settling and reconciling cash. This allows detection and surveillance of discrepancies in cash amounts. Using sensors inside the ATM, cash theft can also be detected. Any abnormal signals are immediately transmitted to the person in charge and the management department, enabling a swift response to incidents. According to Woori Bank, this system will establish an advanced automatic response system and prevent accidents in advance.
