Gwangju Chamber of Commerce Holds Practical Training on Labor Dispute Response
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced on the 3rd that it will hold a training session titled "Practical Response to Labor Dispute Cases through Examples" on the 8th.
This training was prepared to support the improvement of response capabilities to labor dispute cases for practitioners of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Gwangju-Jeonnam region.
The curriculum will cover various labor dispute cases focusing on the procedures and response methods for each case, including ▲ procedures for filing complaints with the Labor Relations Commission ▲ wage arrears disputes (such as how to prepare labor contracts and wage ledgers) ▲ unfair dismissal disputes (differences between recommended resignation and unfair dismissal) ▲ industrial accident disputes (industrial accidents and civil lawsuit compensation) ▲ workplace harassment disputes, and will be conducted for about 4 hours.
The instructor is Labor Attorney Lee So-min of World Labor Law Firm, who is currently serving as a rights protection officer at the Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service. Participants will be provided with training materials, certificates of completion, and free parking on the day of the training.
A Gwangju Chamber of Commerce official stated, "Interest in labor management areas such as wage arrears and unfair dismissal disputes is increasing among companies," adding, "We will continue to strive to support local companies through various methods such as related lectures, briefings, and consulting."

Meanwhile, the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce plans to hold additional courses in June, including "Practical Tax and Accounting Management That All Employees Should Know," focusing on applicable cases in tax and accounting management, and "Report Writing and Persuasion Skills to Make Me Shine," covering report writing methods and techniques to enhance persuasiveness.
