Musicow Hires Financial Experts Seo Juhee and Kim Jaehong as Leaders to Strengthen Music IP Management

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Musicow (CEO Jung Hyunkyung) announced on the 3rd that it has recruited veteran financial experts Seo Juhee and Kim Jaehong to strengthen music IP management and to establish and professionally operate a large-scale music IP fund.
Seo Juhee, who joined as the head of Musicow's IP Product Planning Team, is an expert with 17 years of experience in various financial roles across traditional finance and fintech industries, including Samil Accounting Corporation, Korea Citibank, Samsung Life Insurance, Samsung Asset Management, Samsung Hedge Asset Management, and Toss Bank. She holds a degree in Business Administration from Seoul National University and Columbia Business School. As an asset management specialist, she also has experience in financial advisory and underwriting.
Leader Seo will lead the overall tasks related to the establishment and operation of the large-scale music IP fund currently being promoted by Musicow, while also building an advanced listing system for the music IP owned by Musicow. She will also spearhead the diversification of IP fund products for users.
Kim Jaehong, newly appointed as head of the IP Asset Management Team, is an expert who has worked for over 17 years at NH Investment & Securities, handling various financial tasks. After graduating from Chung-Ang University with a degree in Law, he gained experience in branch sales, overseas investment fund planning and sales, securities-backed credit and loan operations at NH Investment & Securities. He has also been responsible for Prime Brokerage Services (PBS), which provides comprehensive services necessary for hedge fund management.
Based on his accumulated work experience, Leader Kim will oversee the systematic management and strengthening of the system for the music IP owned by Musicow, as well as the collection and analysis of IP-related data. As the scale of music copyrights purchased and managed by Musicow is rapidly growing, Musicow is expected to develop more systematic and highly professional music copyright management through this recruitment.
