Incheon Superintendent-Elect Doseong Hoon: "I Will Complete the Future Education of Incheon"
Progressive candidate Do Seong-hoon, running for Incheon Superintendent of Education, is cheering after winning the June 1 local election in a close race against conservative unified candidate Choi Gye-hoon.

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Doseong Hoon, the elected Superintendent of Education for Incheon, stated on the 2nd, "I will realize student-centered education that does not give up on a single child."
Doseong Hoon said, "The voters have coldly evaluated and once again recognized my efforts and sincerity over the past four years dedicated to Incheon education," adding, "During my term, I will prove with concrete results that the voters' choice was absolutely not wrong."
Progressive candidate Doseong Hoon won a close race against conservative unified candidate Choi Kye-woon in the June 1 local elections. Notably, he became the first superintendent in Incheon to win re-election since the introduction of the direct election system for superintendents.
He plans to focus on realizing student-centered education and further enhancing teachers' pride and professionalism during his four-year term.
He also promised to work on creating happy schools where respect and fairness thrive, supporting youth employment and entrepreneurship in Incheon education, and establishing a transparent and smart educational administration system.

Doseong Hoon expressed, "I am grateful once again to the citizens who gave me the opportunity to serve for the second leap of Incheon education," emphasizing, "As the person responsible for educational administration, I will fulfill my role so that all educational stakeholders?students, parents, teachers, and staff?can communicate, collaborate, and complete the future education of Incheon together."
