Wemade Makes Strategic Investment in iCandy Subsidiary 'Proyo Games'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] Wemade announced on the 31st that it has made a strategic investment in Froyo Games, a P2E (Play to Earn) GameFi platform.
Froyo Games is a subsidiary of iCandy, the largest game company in Australia, Southeast Asia, and New Zealand, operating a Web 3.0 gaming platform and a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace for P2E games. It is building a metaverse world using Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.
Froyo has received investments from Animoca Brands, Spartan, GBV, and its Froyo Coin is listed on three exchanges: BKEX, BTSE, and CoinW. iCandy and Froyo have maintained a 7-year partnership, collaborating extensively across blockchain and metaverse businesses.
Wemade plans to expand its market and content through collaboration with iCandy and Froyo, while sharing blockchain technology and expertise to promote the expansion of the token economy ecosystem.
