Hyundai Motor President at Davos: "Let's Unite Dispersed Mobility Services"
Jiyoung Jo, President of Innovation at Hyundai Motor Group, is giving a presentation at the Davos Forum on the 24th (local time).
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Ji Young-jo, Head of Innovation at Hyundai Motor Group, emphasized on the 24th (local time) at the World Economic Forum (WEF, Davos Forum) the need to organically integrate scattered mobility services. He urged automakers, parts suppliers, and mobility service companies to actively establish a global cooperation system to build a human-centered integrated mobility ecosystem.
According to the company, Ji stated as a presenter at this year's event, "A ‘Mobility Solution Provider’ must take responsibility by coordinating everything from building service platforms to developing individual services so that mobility services are connected for user convenience."
He pointed out that although transportation means have diversified and service platforms have increased, they remain scattered without organic linkage, slowing the improvement of mobility rights. In his presentation, Ji proposed a plan to build an integrated mobility service platform that enables organic services based on analysis of changes in transportation demand. He also emphasized the need to develop inclusive services that do not exclude vulnerable transportation groups.
