We will also build a control tower for disaster occurrence inspection and response."
Furthermore, to complete the four regional quarantine and infectious disease treatment systems in Seoul, he announced plans to establish municipal general hospitals in the Southeast and Northwest regions and to create a Seoul-type disaster safety fund to meticulously support citizens in disasters.
He also explained plans to build better public hospitals in both Gangnam and Gangbuk areas. This includes expanding municipal general hospitals in the Southeast and Northwest regions and establishing a municipal children's hospital in Gangbuk. Additionally, he intends to install a cardiovascular center and an organ transplant center at Seoul Municipal Boramae Hospital and a public cancer center at Seoul Medical Center.
Candidate Song emphasized, "Candidate Oh Se-hoon announced the establishment of a municipal general hospital only in the Gangnam area to protect vulnerable groups. To ensure balance between Gangnam and Gangbuk, the Gangbuk area must also be cared for."
Alongside this, he proposed a "City Administration that Cares for Care," aiming to promote the Seoul Care Ordinance to alleviate the difficulties of care workers and caregiving families, ensuring their rights and health. He plans to expand dementia-specialized day care centers and short-term care centers in each autonomous district and to introduce the nation's first "Paid Sick Leave for Child Illness" system to reduce the burden on parents when their young children cannot attend daycare due to infectious diseases or other illnesses.
