Gyeonggi-do 'Firefighting Skills Competition' Opens on 24th... 177 Participants
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] A firefighting skills competition to select the best firefighter in Gyeonggi Province will be held.
The Gyeonggi Provincial Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that it will host the "2022 Gyeonggi-do Firefighting Skills Competition" for four days from the 24th to the 27th at the Gyeonggi Fire Academy located in Yongin, where various firefighting skills will be contested to enhance the disaster response capabilities of firefighters in rescue, fire, and emergency medical tactics.
This year, 177 players representing fire stations across the province will compete in four categories: ▲ Best Firefighter ▲ Fire Tactics ▲ Rescue Tactics ▲ Emergency Medical Tactics (Advanced Resuscitation and Multiple Casualty Response Tactics).
The Gyeonggi Fire Headquarters will sum the scores by category and select five fire stations: one champion, two runners-up, and two honorable mentions.
Additionally, the personnel selected in each category, including the Best Firefighter, will represent Gyeonggi Province at the national firefighting skills competition.
