Kensington Hotels Nationwide Launch 'Special Bingsu 2 Types'
Kensington Hotel offers two types of 'Special Bingsu,' including Apple Mango Bingsu and Classic Bingsu.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Kensington Hotels in Seoul, Gangwon, and Busan announced on the 23rd that they will introduce two types of 'Special Bingsu' ahead of summer.
The two newly launched special bingsu varieties this year are Apple Mango Bingsu and Classic Bingsu, designed to be enjoyed at each hotel's 'healing spot' known as a 'view restaurant.' The Apple Mango Bingsu will be available until August 31, and the Classic Bingsu until October 31.
The Apple Mango Bingsu features finely shaved snowflake ice topped with layers of apple mango and ice cream. To suit customer preferences, red beans, berries, and tiramisu piece cake are served separately in a bowl to mix with the bingsu. The Classic Bingsu is topped with honeycomb harvested in a traditional way on finely shaved snowflake ice. The honeycomb offers a unique taste as the honey spreads in the mouth while the honeycomb crisps are chewed. Red beans, berries, and Omegitteok (rice cake) are served together. The bingsu is served with milk ice finely shaved like snowflakes.

The two special bingsu varieties are available at Kensington Hotel Yeouido, Pyeongchang, Seorak, and Kent Hotel Gwangalli by Kensington. Kensington Hotel Yeouido offers them at the sports bar Yangts & Mets, where visitors can enjoy a baseball memorabilia exhibition. They are available from 2 PM to 5 PM. Kensington Hotel Pyeongchang serves them at Cafe Flori on the first floor, where guests can enjoy the view of the French garden 'Kensington Garden.' It operates from 2 PM to 4 PM. Kensington Hotel Seorak offers the bingsu at the 9th-floor Bistro & Bar Abbey Road, where guests can enjoy the scenic view of Seoraksan Mountain. It is available from 12 PM to 5 PM. Kent Hotel Gwangalli by Kensington serves the bingsu at the 15th-floor Sky Lounge with a sea view, operating from 12 PM to 5 PM.
