Incheon TP Resumes Support for SMEs' Overseas Market Development... Participates in Thailand Exhibition Consultation on 22nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) is resuming local market development activities to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in entering overseas markets, which had been suspended for over two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Incheon TP will hold the 'Incheon Companies Exhibition and Consultation' from the 22nd to the 28th at the Swissotel in Bangkok, Thailand. During the same period, it will also operate the Incheon Pavilion at the 'Thailand International Food Expo.'
Twenty companies will participate in the Incheon Companies Exhibition and Consultation. Earlier in February, they conducted over 100 video consultations with Thai buyers and exchanged samples. Through this event, an additional 150 local consultations will be conducted.
At the Incheon Pavilion of the Thailand International Food Expo, eight companies from the Incheon area, supported by Incheon TP, will set up promotional booths to explore the Thai market.
Next month, Incheon TP will support the global expansion of about 50 companies through exhibitions and consultations in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City), the Thailand International Packaging Industry Expo, and in July, market development delegations to Latin America (Guatemala and Panama) and Indonesia (Jakarta).
Additionally, companies interested in participating in the Australian (Sydney) beauty strategy delegation scheduled for August, market development delegations to Turkey (Istanbul) and Japan (Tokyo), and the Malaysian (Kuala Lumpur) beauty expo are being recruited through the business support information site BizOK until the 27th.
An Incheon TP official stated, "Due to the lockdown measures in major Chinese cities caused by the COVID-19 impact, Chinese companies have been hesitant overseas, creating a good opportunity to target niche markets. We will help Incheon companies realize their dreams of global expansion."
