This event was initiated by President Yoon Jong-won’s idea to fulfill the role of a corporate citizen by providing opportunities for citizens exhausted from the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic to enjoy culture and arts, and offering performance opportunities to musicians whose activities have been restricted.
With the theme of overseas travel, this event was held as a 'Mamma Mia Special' to capture the emotions of a musical journey to New York Broadway. Actors Kim Hyun-sook, who appeared in musicals such as 'Man of La Mancha' and 'The Last Empress,' Joo Ah, who passionately played the role of Rose Bertin in 'Marie Antoinette,' and Oh Ki-ppeum, who charmingly portrayed the role of Rosie in 'Mamma Mia,' graced the stage.
IBK plans to continue hosting the IBK After-Work Music Live until August. Along with chamber music and jazz performances, stages for indie bands are also prepared, and each month will feature various themes such as 'Calm music to listen to at a camping site' and 'Exciting music suitable for summer vacation.'
