Apartmentary Secures 30 Billion KRW Series C Funding
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Apartment interior startup Apartmentmentary announced on the 19th that it has completed a Series C investment round worth 30 billion KRW from Leverant Partners and others.
This Series C investment involved new investors such as Leverant Partners, Shinhan Financial Group, Korea Development Bank, and Korea Investment & Securities, as well as existing investor Daol Investment (formerly KTB Network). Apartmentmentary received investments of 3 billion KRW and 10 billion KRW in 2017 and 2019 respectively, and with this new investment, it has achieved a total cumulative investment amount of 43 billion KRW.
Founded in 2016, Apartmentmentary is a startup providing apartment interior services. It has introduced modular interior services, a price tag system (fixed pricing), finishing confirmation documents, and a dedicated application for communication with customers. In just five years since its founding in 2016, it achieved a 2,190% annual sales growth and became the number one single brand for apartment interior services in the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions.
Recently, it has been expanding offline customer experiences by launching a regional hub brand called ‘SPOKE’, extending its value chain through proprietary materials, home furnishing products, and technologies such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR), and pursuing global expansion.
Sejun Jeong, Managing Director at Leverant Partners, explained the investment background: “In the high-cost, high-involvement interior market, Apartmentmentary has focused on innovating customer experience, achieving a cumulative order amount of 300 billion KRW and accumulating 50,000 construction data records, proving its performance. We judged that K-living, centered on apartment culture within the global living market, is sufficient to establish itself as competitive content.”
