Lunit 1Q Sales 3 Billion KRW... 552% Increase Compared to Same Period Last Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Lunit continued its growth with a 552% increase in sales in the first quarter of this year. However, the loss margin also widened.
On the 16th, Lunit announced through its consolidated quarterly report for the first quarter of this year that its sales amounted to 2.97626 billion KRW, a 552% growth compared to the same period last year. In particular, overseas sales increased by 731.2% from 356 million KRW in the same period last year to 2.603 billion KRW, and the proportion of total sales also rose to 87.5%.
However, operating loss widened to 13.42433 billion KRW compared to 8.85232 billion KRW in the same period last year, and net loss also increased to 21.76019 billion KRW.
