[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] Oh Tae-seok, appointed as the 1st Vice Minister of the Ministry of Science and ICT on the 13th, was born in 1968. He graduated from Jeonju High School and Seoul National University with a degree in Economics, and earned a master's degree in Technology Management from the University of Sussex in the UK. He entered public service through the 35th Administrative Examination and has served as the head of the National Science and Technology Advisory Council Support Group and as the Director of Science and Technology Innovation Coordination at the Ministry of Science and ICT.
