[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Hampyeong-gun, Jeollanam-do, has taken steps to alleviate the management burden on small business owners struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
On the 12th, the county announced that it will support small business owners in the area with card fees of up to 400,000 KRW.
Eligibility for support is limited to small business owners with an annual sales revenue of 250 million KRW or less last year, who have had their address and business location in Hampyeong-gun since before May 15, 2021, and continuing to the present.
However, businesses in sectors excluded from the Small and Medium Venture Business Administration's small business policy fund support, such as gambling establishments, unregistered businesses, and small business owners who are currently on temporary closure or have closed as of the application date, are excluded from support.
The support amount is 0.8% of the 2021 card sales, up to a maximum of 400,000 KRW.
Applications can be made at the local town or township offices starting from the 16th, and the program may close early if the budget is exhausted.
