BTS Ranks in Top Positions for 32 Consecutive Weeks on US Billboard 'Global Chart'

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The group BTS continues to maintain strong popularity on the US Billboard charts.
According to the latest chart (dated May 14) released by the US music media Billboard on the 10th (local time), BTS ranked 31st on the 'Billboard Global (excluding US)' with "Butter," released in May last year, and 36th with "My Universe," a collaboration with Coldplay released in September last year.
On the 'Billboard Global 200,' "Butter" placed 51st and "My Universe" 62nd. On both charts, which rank based on streaming and sales data from over 200 countries/regions worldwide, BTS has maintained a top position for 32 consecutive weeks.
BTS's "Dynamite" and "Permission to Dance" also consistently appeared on both the 'Billboard Global 200' and 'Billboard Global (excluding US)' charts. On the 'Billboard Global 200' chart, "Dynamite" ranked 65th and "Permission to Dance" 186th, while on the 'Billboard Global (excluding US)' chart, "Dynamite" was 42nd and "Permission to Dance" 93rd.
Additionally, BTS lined up their albums in the top ranks of the 'World' chart. "BE," released in November 2020, ranked 5th on the 'World Albums' and 55th on the 'Top Current Albums.' "LOVE YOURSELF 承 'Her'," released in September 2017, placed 6th on the 'World Albums' and 56th on the 'Top Album Sales.'
"LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'," released in May 2018, ranked 7th on the 'World Albums'; "MAP OF THE SOUL : 7," released in February 2020, was 8th; "MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA," released in April 2019, was 9th; and "LOVE YOURSELF 結 'Answer'," released in August 2018, ranked 12th on the 'World Albums.'

The collaboration track "That That" by BTS's Suga and PSY, released last month, is also achieving remarkable results on the Billboard charts. After its release, the song entered the Billboard main singles chart 'Hot 100' at number 80, ranked 1st on 'World Digital Song Sales,' 2nd on both 'Digital Song Sales' and 'Billboard Global (excluding US),' 4th on 'Hot Canadian Digital Song Sales,' 5th on 'Billboard Global 200,' 16th on 'LyricFind Global,' and 41st on the 'Canadian Hot 100.'
