Sonid Selected as 'Digital NFT Operator' for Art Storage at Incheon International Airport
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] Sonyde (formerly YapX), a KOSDAQ-listed company, has participated in the Ars Hexa consortium, the preferred negotiator for the Incheon International Airport art storage facility project, and has been selected as a ‘digital NFT operator.’ The Ars Hexa consortium secured the preferred negotiator status for the Incheon International Airport art storage facility development project last February.

Sonyde, through its subsidiary Sonyde Lab, will proceed with the digital NFT business (digital storage) for artworks stored in the facility, starting with its participation in the Ars Hexa consortium.

The art storage facility development project is the first phase of building the Incheon International Airport Art Hub to enhance competitiveness. In the future, Incheon International Airport plans to establish an auction house, art fair, and gallery in the second phase, and eventually build a museum in the third phase.
