Opening the Way for Legalization of Illegal Outdoor Advertisements... Sancheong-gun Temporarily Operates Simplified Voluntary Reporting with Reduced Paperwork
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam, is temporarily legalizing illegal outdoor advertisements and promoting a systematic maintenance project.
This project is conducted under the supervision of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety. It targets illegal signs that require permission or notification but have not gone through administrative procedures among the existing installed signs.
After receiving voluntary reports until June, the plan is to legalize advertisements that meet regulations by September.
During the reporting period, required submission documents will be simplified to minimize civil complaints. Applicants can prepare the application form and required documents and apply to the Regional Development Division of the county office or the eup/myeon office.
