SD Biosensor Signs Supply Contract for Taiwan COVID-19 Self-Test Kits Worth 103.3 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwan-ju] SD Biosensor announced on the 9th that it has signed a contract to supply COVID-19 self-test kits worth 103.3 billion KRW to the Taiwanese government.
Taiwan's quarantine authorities will consider a positive result from the COVID-19 self-test kit as confirmed positive without requiring a separate PCR test starting from the 12th of this month.
Until last year, Taiwan maintained double-digit confirmed cases, but recently, due to the spread of the Omicron variant, the daily number of new infections has exceeded 40,000.
