Samsung Sarang Nanum Association Provides Up to 2 Million KRW per Person to Seoul Families in Crisis
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji Yeon-jin] Samjeong Love Sharing Association, a social welfare support corporation of Samjeong KPMG, announced on the 9th that it will provide medical and housing expenses to neighbors in need in cooperation with the Seoul Metropolitan Social Welfare Council and Nowon Education Welfare Foundation.
The "Crisis Family Support Project" is a specialized project that provides medical and housing support funds for one year from last month to March 2023 to low-income and vulnerable households living in Seoul who are experiencing economic difficulties due to crisis situations. The support targets low-income families who cannot resolve their issues through legal support, as well as vulnerable families who do not meet legal requirements but are experiencing difficulties in daily life due to crisis and emergency situations.
Recipients will receive housing support funds such as maintenance fees, rent, gas, and electricity bills, or medical support funds corresponding to treatment and hospitalization costs, up to a maximum of 2 million KRW per person.
