[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education is operating a ‘Time for Dialogue’ to strengthen communication with schools in the field. It will be conducted for 40 elementary, middle, high, and special schools until October 13.
The Time for Dialogue was prepared based on the ‘2022 Basic Plan for Normalizing School Work Centered on Educational Activities’ to listen to the opinions of on-site managers and staff regarding policies being promoted at schools and to derive improvement measures.
On-site support consulting is also provided to help establish the normalization of school work.
The Office of Education selected 40 target schools after analyzing the composition of school administrative teams and the status of work assignments by school, conducted from March to April, considering school level and size.
The Time for Dialogue starts with Bangojin Elementary School on the 9th and proceeds in a manner that freely discusses difficulties and improvement measures based on school work analysis and reduction processes, excellent cases of operating school administrative teams, and plans for operating professional learning communities.
On-site support consulting is also conducted to reduce and streamline school work and to activate professional learning communities.
Projects promoted by the Office of Education to reduce workload, such as operation plans for materials to assist in practicing school work normalization, linking school official documents, and operating the Voice of the Field, as well as organizing school-linked projects, are also introduced.
The Office of Education plans to provide and introduce how to use helpful materials necessary for schools to practice school work normalization, including ▲ ways to create a democratic meeting culture ▲ formation and operation methods of the school work normalization TF team ▲ school work analysis and total workload reduction ▲ cases of forming and operating school administrative teams ▲ improvement of school work systems centered on educational activities.
