GS Retail, together with the Korea Healthy Family Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, delivered snacks to children from 200 multicultural single-mother households.
The GS Love Love Fund campaign will be expanded into an integrated social contribution campaign involving all employees. In this campaign, employees donate a fixed amount monthly, and the company matches the donation to provide a hearty meal to vulnerable groups. Last year, about 300 employees donated a total of 50 million KRW together with the company.
Meanwhile, GS25 signed a business agreement with the Seoul Metropolitan Government last month to support meal provision for children at risk of food insecurity and to promote social contribution activities. Starting in June, children using the child meal card will be able to choose their preferred products, time, and store to have meals at a 20% discounted price.
