[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] On the 3rd, the Nambu Fire Station of Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it awarded certificates and badges to seven paramedics selected as Heart, Brain, and Trauma Saver recipients for saving citizens' lives.
The Heart Saver certification is awarded to individuals who contributed to the revival of cardiac arrest patients through appropriate emergency treatment. The Brain Saver certification is given to those who increased survival rates and minimized aftereffects by providing rapid and accurate assessment and appropriate emergency treatment to acute stroke patients. The Trauma Saver certification is awarded to those who contributed to appropriate treatment of patients classified as severe trauma, such as from traffic accidents.
