[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Ajou Group affiliates Ajou IB Investment and Ajou Continuum participated as official sponsors of the ‘2022 Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival,’ continuing their patronage activities.
The Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival is South Korea’s premier chamber music performance featuring top domestic and international musicians introducing hidden works by world-renowned composers. It is held annually over approximately two weeks in May, offering music of varying depths that satisfy both enthusiasts and beginners.
Ajou Group has continuously supported the Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival for 11 years since 2012. As patronage has shifted from being ‘a good deed’ to ‘an essential duty,’ the group practices social contribution through steady support of the cultural and arts sectors.
This year, they sponsored the performance ‘Checkmate Czech Mate’ held on the 3rd at the IBK Chamber Hall in the Seoul Arts Center. The concert featured skilled domestic and international performers playing masterpieces by Czech composers such as Bohuslav Martinu, Bed?ich Smetana, Erwin Schulhoff, and Anton?n Dvo??k.
