Jin Air, Signing Ceremony for Four Disabled Athletes
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] Jin Air announced on the 3rd that it held a signing ceremony to welcome four newly recruited disabled athletes.
The signing ceremony held at the headquarters the day before was attended by Park Byung-ryul, CEO of Jin Air, Na Yong, Director of the Seoul Southern Branch of the Korea Employment Agency for the Disabled, Kwon Ik-tae, Sports Team Operations Manager of the Seoul Metropolitan Disabled Sports Association, as well as the athletes and their families. The newly recruited athletes are Kim Jong-guk and Choi Kwang-seon in table tennis, and Shin Dong-geon and Shin Dong-chan in boccia. They were hired as Jin Air employees and will lead their athletic careers through training and participation in competitions. The company decided to provide various employee welfare benefits such as group insurance and support for congratulatory and condolence events.

Last year, the company established a team consisting of three table tennis players to promote disabled sports. With this new recruitment, the number of athletes has increased to seven across two sports. Jin Air stated, "We plan to continue expanding the disabled athletes team and discover talented players."
