At the confirmation hearing held at the National Assembly on the same day, nominee Choo said, "I agree with the direction of the current government's carbon reduction, but there was a lack of communication with the industrial sector." He also emphasized that carbon neutrality should be "utilized as a challenge and opportunity for our future."
