Twitter Bans Climate Change Denial Ads
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jin-ho] Twitter has decided not to allow advertisements that deny the scientific consensus on climate change going forward.
According to major foreign media on the 23rd, Twitter stated in a statement released on Earth Day (April 22) that "We believe Twitter should not profit from climate denial, nor should misleading advertisements undermine important discussions about the climate crisis."
It added, "Twitter recognizes that misinformation about climate change can weaken efforts to protect the planet."
