[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] LG CNS has decided to increase salaries by an average of 10% this year, marking the largest raise in its history.
According to the IT industry on the 15th, LG CNS will apply a 10% regular salary increase starting from this month's payroll.
The company also raised the starting salary for new employees by 4 million KRW compared to last year, to 50 million KRW. Including performance bonuses, the total annual salary for new hires is expected to exceed 60 million KRW on average.
The salary increase rate is applied differentially based on employees' competency levels. LG CNS comprehensively evaluates digital transformation (DX) technical skills, industry expertise, and leadership capabilities, categorizing all employees into competency levels from 1 to a maximum of 5. Regardless of age or rank, employees with higher competency levels can receive greater rewards and are eligible for faster promotions under the current system.
In addition to the salary increase policy based on competency levels, LG CNS also operates a separate individual incentive system based on work performance.
An LG CNS representative stated, "We will continue to strengthen our compensation competitiveness to secure DX talent and help our members grow into elite experts."

Meanwhile, LG CNS recorded sales of 4.1431 trillion KRW last year, surpassing 4 trillion KRW for the first time in its history.
