View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] Pianist Ilya Rashkovsky announced on the 12th that he will hold a recital. After winning prestigious international competitions such as the Queen Elisabeth and Long-Thibaud Crespin, he is currently serving as an invited professor at Sungshin Women's University College of Music in Korea.
The recital will take place on May 10th at the IBK Chamber Hall in the Seoul Arts Center, Seocho-gu, Seoul. The theme of this performance is 'Harmony, Rhythm, and Color.'
The concert will begin with Bart?k's piano ?tudes. Ilya Rashkovsky plans to perform this piece, which features changing and dynamic rhythms and requires advanced technical skills, in his own interpretation.
Following this, he will vividly present natural depictions and the unique colors of the pieces 'Fog,' 'The Terrace Pouring Moonlight,' and 'Fallen Leaves' from Claude Debussy's 'Pr?ludes, Book 2.'
Ilya Rashkovsky debuted at the age of 8, performing with the Irkutsk Chamber Orchestra. He later studied under Professor Mary Levenson at the Novosibirsk State Conservatory and received instruction from Vladimir Krainev at the Hanover University of Music.

Touring in Japan, Germany, France, Ukraine, and the United States, he received acclaim for his Chopin and Prokofiev recital performances. He has collaborated with numerous orchestras, including the Kyiv National Philharmonic, Gulbenkian Symphony Orchestra, Ukrainian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech National Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, and New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra.
