High-end whiskey 'The Last Drop' collection sold for 75.5 million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] BX Spirits Korea, an alcoholic beverage importer, announced on the 31st that the high-end whiskey collection ‘The Last Drop’ was sold for 75.5 million KRW at an auction held through Artday Auction Online.
The auction took place from 4 PM the previous day on Artday Auction Online and was won by a whiskey enthusiast. One set of ‘The Last Drop’ had been exhibited at Suwon Gwanggyo Artday Auction since the 19th of this month.
The ‘The Last Drop’ collection consists of a total of 7 bottles: ▲3 bottles of blended Scotch whiskey ▲1 bottle of single grain Scotch whiskey ▲1 bottle of single malt whiskey ▲1 bottle of bourbon whiskey ▲1 bottle of Jamaican rum. Among these, ‘The Last Drop 1980 Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey,’ produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in the 1980s, is a limited edition with only 240 bottles worldwide. It attracted significant attention as the purchase price per bottle overseas reached approximately 30 million KRW.
