Korean Air Announces 2022 Regular Executive Personnel Changes... 15 Promotions
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Korean Air announced on the 30th that it has carried out its regular executive personnel appointments for 2022, effective from the 1st of next month.
The scale of this promotion personnel appointment includes a total of 15 people. Executive Director Song Boyoung and three others were promoted to Senior Executive Director. A total of 11 people, including Senior Manager Choi Hyunoh, were promoted to Executive Director.
Korean Air explained, "We focused on overcoming the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic crisis and uncertain management environment, and concentrating the company's capabilities to overcome the crisis of the Korean aviation industry through the smooth acquisition and integration of Asiana Airlines."
Korean Air will continue to make efforts to proactively respond to the expansion of passenger demand in the post-COVID era and lead the global aviation market. It also plans to actively respond to the corporate merger reviews by overseas competition authorities, which are prerequisites for the acquisition and integration of Asiana Airlines.
