Putin Preparing for Nuclear War? ...Claims Arise That He Is Hiding in a Nuclear Bunker
Near Surgut, Western Siberia, Underground Bunker... Presumed Aircraft Movement Detected
[Asia Economy Senior Reporter Jinsoo Lee] Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Presidential Office and known as the "mouth" of Russian President Vladimir Putin, stated in an interview with the US CNN on the 22nd (local time) that when asked "Under what conditions would President Putin use nuclear weapons?" that "nuclear weapons could be used if there is a threat to the existence of the state."
However, some rumors suggest that President Putin and senior military officials are already hiding in a secret underground nuclear bunker.
Some media outlets, including the British daily Daily Mail, recently reported that based on the movements of aircraft used by Kremlin officials, there are claims that President Putin might be in an underground bunker near Surgut in the central part of the West Siberian Plain.
According to reports, Sergei Shoigu, Russia’s Defense Minister, who has been missing for weeks raising health concerns, is rumored to be hiding in a bunker near Ufa, a city in the Ural region about 1,170 km east of Moscow.
According to Hristo Grozev, an investigative journalist from Bulgaria, supporting this is Shoigu’s daughter, Kseniya Shoigu (31). Kseniya is known to have stayed in Ufa for three days starting from the 22nd. This has fueled speculation about Shoigu’s health issues.
Kseniya suddenly blocked access to her Instagram account, which featured photos of her dressed in the symbolic yellow and blue colors of Ukraine along with a baby.
Their visit to the secret nuclear bunker has led to suspicions that President Putin might be preparing to deploy nuclear weapons.

Grozev said, "If the Russian military leadership has decided on a nuclear strike, they must hide before the attack; they cannot evacuate after the attack."
He is confident that President Putin is located somewhere other than Ufa. This is because the aircraft heading to other locations are classified as more secret than those going to Ufa. According to him, these state-owned aircraft often turn off their transponders near Surgut.
Surgut, located about 2,900 km northeast of Moscow, is a key region for Russian oil production.
Grozev claimed that there might be more advanced bunkers in Surgut where high-ranking government officials stay. He also asserted that Valery Gerasimov, the Chief of the General Staff, is directing the war from a bunker in this area.
There was also a claim on the 1st that President Putin had evacuated his wife and daughter to an underground bunker in the Altai Republic in preparation for a nuclear war.
