Yeongam-gun, All Indoor Sports Facilities Open with Capacity Limits
50% Capacity Limit Due to Gradual Recovery of Daily Life from COVID-19
[Yeongam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, will partially reopen all indoor sports facilities in the area that had been closed due to COVID-19.
The county decided to open these facilities starting from the 28th of last month, in line with ensuring residents' sports activities and the government's phased return to normal life.
The facilities include Yeongam Indoor Gymnasium, Gunmin Hall, National Sports Center, and Samho Comprehensive Culture and Sports Center, with usage limited to 50% capacity for the time being.
The reopening was promoted to align with the easing of some government quarantine guidelines and the return to normal life, and there are plans to increase capacity considering the local COVID-19 case trends.
