Forest Service Opens 'Guknip Yongjibong Natural Recreation Forest' in Gimhae, Gyeongnam

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Service announced on the 29th that it held the opening ceremony of the 'National Yongjibong Natural Recreation Forest.'
Yongjibong Recreation Forest was established in the Daechung Valley area of Gimhae City (58 hectares) and is equipped with one Forest Culture Recreation Hall, seven Forest Houses, walking trails, and children's playground facilities.
From this day forward, Yongjibong Recreation Forest is open for free admission, and accommodation facilities can be used from the 15th of next month after making a reservation through the nationwide integrated reservation system for natural recreation forests, 'Supnadeul-e.'
The Korea Forest Service started construction in 2018 and completed four years of work recently. A total project cost of 8.6 billion KRW was invested in the development of Yongjibong Recreation Forest.
