Kim Eun-hye, spokesperson for the President-elect, said this during a regular briefing held on the morning of the 29th at the transition office in Tongui-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
When asked whether the topic of Prime Minister Kim's retention was discussed during the meeting, Spokesperson Kim said, "Shortly after past reports surfaced, it was stated that although he is a respected and esteemed person, that is a separate matter from retaining the prime minister position," adding, "I think there is no need to notify twice," drawing a clear line.
Regarding whether Prime Minister Kim promised to relocate to Yongsan before taking office, she avoided answering, saying, "I am not in a position to know the details of the conversation."
