Kim Jaeyoung Appointed CEO of Hana Insurance "Strengthening Digital Competitiveness"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] Hana Insurance announced on the 25th that it held a general shareholders' meeting and appointed Kim Jaeyoung as the new CEO.
CEO Kim graduated from the Department of Trade at Hongik University and served as Executive Director at Hana Financial Group (in charge of CCRO collaboration and synergy), Executive Director of IT Integrated Support Team at Hana Bank, and Executive Director of Trust Business Team at Hana Bank. Since May 2020, he has been serving as Vice President of Hana Insurance.
After successfully completing IT integrated support at Hana Bank, he served as Vice President at Hana Insurance, leading various agreements and partnerships, group collaborations, the launch of lifestyle insurance, and the development of new insurance business systems.
In his inaugural speech, CEO Kim stated, "We will focus on expanding digital-based B2B2C partnerships that can lead the new insurance market order, strengthening D2C channels to enhance competitiveness, efficient growth of existing businesses, and managing capital and profits in line with the introduction of IFRS."
