GS Caltex Retirees Association Donates 2 Million Won for Wildfire Damage Recovery Fund
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] The GS Caltex Retirees Association donated 2 million won to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (President Noh Dong-il) to support recovery efforts for the forest fire damages in Gyeongbuk and Gangwon.
At the donation ceremony held on the 24th, Kim Dong-geuk, Secretary General of Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, Lee Dong-won, President of the GS Caltex Retirees Association, and related officials attended.
The donation will be used to assist the victims affected by the recent forest fires in Uljin, Gyeongbuk, and Samcheok, Gangwon.
Lee Dong-won, President of the GS Caltex Retirees Association, said, "We hope this will help those who are in difficult situations due to the forest fires and that they can return to their daily lives as soon as possible."
