[YES24 Bestseller] Former Minister Cho Kuk's 'Advanced Loan Country' Ranked No. 1
[Asia Economy Reporter Seomideum] The number one spot on Yes24's comprehensive bestseller list for the fourth week of March was taken by former Minister of Justice Cho Kuk's book "Gabool Seonjinguk," which deals with the achievements and failures of the Moon Jae-in administration. The novel "Bulpeonhan Pyeonuijeom," released as a cherry blossom edition to commemorate 400,000 copies sold, ranked second, and the "Semantic Error Photo Essay," capturing iconic scenes from the hit drama "Semantic Error," climbed twelve spots from the previous week to take third place. The late intellectual of the era, Lee O-ryeong's interview collection "Lee O-ryeong's Last Lesson" rose to fourth place, and the popular children's fairy tale series "143cheung Namu Jip" secured fifth place upon its pre-order release.
This week, several notable novels made a comeback to the rankings. Kim Cho-yeop's first full-length novel "Jigu Kkeut-ui Onshil," which celebrated 100,000 copies sold and confirmed adaptation into a film, was released in an exclusive Yes24 re-cover version and ranked 13th. The original novels "Pachinko 1" and "Pachinko 2," which are generating anticipation ahead of the official release of the Apple TV+ drama, took 14th and 18th places respectively.
As the new semester progresses, new releases in the field of child education also made noticeable advances. The guidebook "Chodeung Suhak Simhwa Gongbubeop," which leads parents and children through the challenging but essential advanced math studies, ranked 16th about a week after publication. The parenting guide "Nohaejuneun Eomma Judohaneun Ai," which awakens a child's inner passion and potential, recorded 19th place.
