Dongbu Construction Appoints Baek Gyu-seok, Former Ministry of Environment Policy Officer, as ESG Committee Chair
Dongbu Construction announced on the 24th that it has appointed Baek Gyu-seok, former Planning and Coordination Director of the Ministry of Environment, as an outside director and appointed him as a member of the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Committee.
Outside Director Baek Gyu-seok has served as Planning and Coordination Director, Environmental Policy Director, and Director of the Resource Circulation Bureau at the Ministry of Environment, handling environmental impact assessments for large-scale development projects and mediating environmental disputes. He is also a member of the ESG Committee of the Korea Water Resources Corporation.
Following the 53rd regular shareholders' meeting on the 23rd, Dongbu Construction held an ESG Committee meeting and changed the ESG Committee Chairperson from Vice Chairman and CEO Heo Sang-hee to Outside Director Baek Gyu-seok.
