Lunit Supplies 'Lunit Insight MMG' to the Middle East
[Asia Economy Reporter Chunhee Lee] Medical artificial intelligence (AI) company Lunit announced on the 24th that it has signed supply contracts with global companies such as Roche and Microsoft (MS) Azure and will export its AI mammography image analysis solution, 'Lunit Insight MMG,' to the Middle East region.
Lunit has previously signed contracts and supplied AI image analysis solutions with GE Healthcare, Philips, and Fujifilm. However, this contract is significant as it is the first collaboration conducted with global biotechnology and cloud companies, diversifying its sales channels.
Through this contract, Lunit will provide Lunit Insight MMG to Roche's Middle East branch for the next three years. Roche plans to utilize Lunit Insight MMG for breast cancer screening at medical institutions in the Middle East by leveraging MS Azure's web-based cloud.
To this end, Lunit plans to launch the Lunit Insight MMG web service in the Middle Eastern market within the first half of this year. Additionally, together with Roche, Lunit is discussing supplying other solutions such as products integrated with the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) used in medical institutions and the lung cancer diagnostic solution 'Lunit Insight CXR,' beyond just cloud services.
