Guidance and Inspection of Obligations under the Serious Accidents Punishment Act for the Safety of Residents and Workers
[Yeongam=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Jae-kyung] Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, is activating a Serious Accident Prevention TF Team in accordance with the enforcement of the Serious Accident Punishment Act.
On the 16th, the county established the Serious Accident Prevention TF Team within the Safety General Division, which is exclusively responsible for the overall management and supervision of safety and health.
The Serious Accident Punishment Act allows for the punishment of management officials if they fail to fulfill their obligations to ensure safety and health, resulting in a serious accident. The scope of application targets businesses or workplaces with five or more regular employees.
The newly established Serious Accident Prevention TF Team plans to conduct guidance and inspections on mandatory obligations according to relevant laws to ensure the safety of residents and workplace employees.
