Yoon to Conduct Nationwide Livelihood Tour "Commitment to Regional Development"
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] President-elect Yoon Seok-yeol is set to embark on a nationwide livelihood tour.
Kim Eun-hye, the spokesperson for the president-elect, stated at a briefing on the 23rd at the Presidential Transition Committee in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, "We are preparing a schedule to visit livelihood sites," adding, "This is to demonstrate our commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the people during the election period and to properly reflect them in the national agenda."
She continued, "We will ensure that no one suffers disadvantages based on the region they live in," and explained, "We have maintained the principle of fully incorporating the will for regional development into the national agenda."
The livelihood tour is expected to take place as early as next week. Spokesperson Kim said, "The schedule needs to be coordinated," and added, "I think it might be a bit rushed to do it within this week, but we are considering going at a near point in time."
