According to industry sources on the 23rd, SK Shieldus and KT Telecop provide total security solutions from authentication to payment. SK Shieldus's solution includes all the necessary equipment for unmanned stores, such as access authentication devices, payment kiosks, and artificial intelligence (AI) CCTV. In particular, using AI CCTV can prevent various incidents, accidents, and crimes. By designating restricted areas within CCTV footage through a dedicated application, intrusion can be monitored in real-time via the app. Additionally, AI technology instantly detects various abnormal behaviors, such as customers collapsing on the floor or the same individual staying in the store for an extended period, and notifies the store owner. KT Telecop also offers a service that verifies visitors via CCTV and remotely opens doors for authorized individuals.
LG Uplus showcases various technologies through its unmanned stores. At the entrance of the contactless store, a 'Welcome Board' is installed. By simply entering a phone number on the 'Welcome Board,' a QR code is conveniently issued via PASS identity verification through text message, which can be used to access all services within the store. There is also the U+ Kiosk. Through the 'SIM Vending Machine' U+ Kiosk, customers who want to activate unlocked phones or used phones can complete plan subscriptions and SIM activation non-face-to-face in about three minutes. LG Uplus focused on the customer's 'eyes' to resolve inconveniences. Through gaze tracking analysis, they closely identify where customers look first upon entering the store, which areas attract the most or least attention, and where customers wander looking for guidance signs, promptly addressing these discomfort points.

Since last year, NHN has supported facial recognition (Face Recognition) AI technology in unmanned smart stores. NHN's facial recognition technology offers multiple functions, including face detection, analysis, and comparison, providing identity verification in various scenarios. Specifically, it first detects faces in input images through face detection and analysis functions. It analyzes the detected face's attributes and returns location information and confidence values for the face, eyes, nose, and mouth. If the input image contains multiple faces, the face comparison function is applied. It compares the largest detected face with each face detected in the comparison target image and returns similarity scores. Additionally, there is a face search function that analyzes and stores facial information in advance to search and identify identities, and a face verification function that allows users to set similarity threshold values to determine whether faces match.
